Country side B&B owned by lovely family

Our stay was great. Excellent breakfast, nice clean room and we had a great welcome from the family. It is a quit B&B who is rebuild in an old farmers house. For sure we will come back for a few days to visit the area with all the history involved. This time it was only for transit. For a nice dinner go to the pub in the city of Albert. Only 3k drive! Greetz, Yam and Ralph from Amsterdam.

A very friendly reception by the owners, and accommodation clean, bright and modern.

Perfect location for the Somme, very clean & comfy rural retreat with very helpful friendly hosts.

Perfect location for a visit to the Somme. A lovely rural location just outside Albert in a pretty farm courtyard renovated by the owner who also lives in one of the farm houses. Super friendly & helpful hosts. No English spoken here but with smiles, hand signs and iTranslate Pro on my iPhone communication no problems.

As a family of 4 we stayed in a fairly spacious super clean family room with 2 bedrooms (1 double & 2 x singles) Our bed was comfortable and the room was very cosy and pleasant. Power points were available for charging phones in the room but as always its best to travel with an extension lead.

A lovely clean shower room suite with a great walk in shower which was really appreciated after a hot day out walking and visiting memorials. Lovely clean fresh towels & everything you needed was provided. One thing to point out is that to get to the shower room/toilet from the 2nd bedroom you have to walk through the master bedroom, being a family this was not a problem.

Reasonable Wi-Fi for the area provided free, TV in master bedroom with bottled water & Tea & Coffee making facilities.

A really nice continental breakfast provided in a separate breakfast room with the some of the best croissant & pain au chocolat we’ve come across, great pain, juices, jams, with good coffee, hot chocolate or Teas. We used the spare pain and croissant for our lunch sandwiches, super.

There is a fridge/freezer in the breakfast room where you can store food and ice packs if needed.

Overall an excellent Bed & Breakfast site and would definitely use again.

To be honest not much to add here if I did I would be nit picking so nothing to say.

Hosts: Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. You feel looked after and appreciated.
Parking: Secure. Good for Motos.
Location: Convenient, handy for surrounding area and peaceful.

Wi-Fi was not really working in the room but didn't really miss it. Enjoyed the peace.

Central to the city centre. We have stayed at this hotel on 5 occasions.

The bathroom was dirty, the sealant around the bath was not finished neatly.
The reception facilities are impeccable, then the en-suites should be likewise.

Perfect location, breakfast was ok, room was good, hotel was a lovely find would definitely stay there again. Didn't eat dinner there as lots of lovely places in the square! We was there for the beautiful Christmas markets! Highly recommend.

Definitely make sure u book your parking space well in advance as very limited!

Fantastic stay in a lovely period hotel

Beautiful historic hotel tucked away in its own courtyard in easy walking distance of the Grande Place and Belfry Tower .
Short drive or 15 minute walk to Wellington Quarry museum which is well worth a visit.
Room was well apportioned, lovely feature bed and very comfortable.
Modern bathroom with big walk-in shower .
Nice tea and coffee facilities in room.
We didn’t try the resturant on this trip but menu

Only issue we encountered was locating the hotel in the dark especially during the Christmas markets due to road closures ( it’s tucked away down a small entry way) but it was no more inconvenient than going around the block once.

Goede locatie maar teleurstellende hotelkamer. Niet schoon. Gordijnen hingen los. Badkamer vies van kalkaanslag. Regendouche deed het niet. Alles verkalkt. Wel goed bed.
